Common Questions
What are your fees for services?
$135.00 for the 60 minute initial appointment/assessment
$115.00 for each follow up 50 minute session
$135.00 for the 50 minute Couple/Marriage or Family session.
$45.00 for each group session
We accept cash, checks, and credit cards. A card processing fee will be applied if you use a credit or debit card. Payment in full is expected prior to each appointment.
Payment arrangements are able to be made for account balances.
Do you accept insurances?
Yes. Please check with your insurance company to find out your plan has mental or behavioral health benefits. You may have a co-insurance, co-pay, or office visit to pay if your annual deductible has not been met before your insurance will cover the cost of counseling. ALL INSURANCE COMPANIES RESERVE THE RIGHT TO DENY CLAIMS FOR SERVICES, LEAVING CLIENTS AN ACCOUNT BALANCE THAT IS THE CLIENT'S RESPONSIBILITY.
As most insurances do not cover marriage counseling, those services will need to be paid for out of pocket.
Verification of insurance benefits by our office is ALWAYS subject to the insurance company determination of benefits. Your given expected payment may change after EOBs are received from insurance company.
As a word of caution, filing an insurance claim will enable health and life insurance companies to gain access to your records. Your records contain a mental health diagnosis, treatment plan, and session notes. If you do not wish this information to potentially be shared with insurance companies, we encourage you to seek our private pay option listed above.

If you wish to file a claim with your insurance company, we will provide you with documentation to submit on your own behalf. Not all plans cover mental health care and not all counseling is considered medically necessary. Please consult with your insurance company to determine your benefits. Reimbursement from your insurance company is strictly between you and your insurance company.

No, we have opted-out of being a Medicare provider, at this time.
Do you accept Medicaid?
No, we are not providers of any Louisiana Medicaid plan, at this time.

What Is Your Cancellation Policy?
We maintain a 24-hour cancellation policy for any scheduled appointment. Late Cancellation appointments (within the 24-hour notice before appointment) or No Show appointments (failure to appear for appointment either in person or via telehealth without notice) will be charged the price of service for which the appointment was made:
$120.00 for the 60 minute initial appointment/assessment
$105.00 for each follow up 50 minute session
$130 for the 50 minute Couple/Marriage or Family session
$45.00 for each group session
We aim to foster a mutual respect of your time and our time. There is often a waiting list of people needing appointments. Habitually missed appointments rob others of getting the help they need. When an appointment is scheduled, that date and time is assigned to you. When you do not show up or cancel within the 24-hour timeframe, that does not allow us to service someone else at that time and it is a gesture of inconsideration for your counselor, her expertise and her time.
